The Unlocked Galaxy S of Samsung and variants of it are all plagued with an utterly troublesome GPS problem which produces incorrect and inaccurate readings from GPS. It is not only slow in getting locks of satellite for internal GPS, but also when a lock finally is obtained, it often reports the streets as the information of location to the phoneset, sometimes it even reports some remote or distant small towns quite away from the physical location of yours. It is no where at all gloom or doom for the owners of Galaxy S, because Samsung is very much aware of this recent problem with GPS and on Friday they tweeted that they have been under the process of examining a fix of current software. It is always expected by Samsung that they will have both the instruction of installation of the patch as well as itself which will be widely available in September to be downloaded.

While waiting as you do for Samsung as to when they will actually rollout the update, a few GPS settings can be changed manually by you yourself which is deep within the specific OS we are talking about and, trust me, it will also help a lot to improve the performance. If you are not at all scared of the thing which lies behind the menu of test mode of LBS, then our detailed set of information and instruction can easily be followed by u here. We derived the instructions referred from the very folks of xda developers who could take it on their shoulder the responsibility of crafting an ultimate fix for the GPS which is ailing for the Unlocked Galaxy I9000 S. This fix has been tested by us just the last month as we found it worth to be confirmed that somehow it also works as the helper of the Vibrant of Samsung.

The Unlocked Samsung S Galaxy has stormed into the market and has definitely created waves of excitement among the people who are interested in technology. We had received some news that the Android 2.2 was being put through a test run on the Samsung Galaxy S and as far as what we had heard, the outcome of these tests have been pretty good and we are waiting for the sign from the company which will signal the release of this product for the common public. In this relation, we have also received the news that this release will be around September. However this release will not be made for any of the US handsets, as it will be only for the original model of the Galaxy S which is sold internationally. In terms of the US release, the time frame for this update will not be very long. The time in which the Galaxy S will be getting the Froyo will be the fastest since the launch of the product.

There are a number of ups and downs to this mobilephones as the TouchWiz UI is not really as good as the ones in the other customized Android phones like the HTC Sense. The also has some upsides as the time it takes for such kind of user interfaces will allow the customized skins to be operated easily and not only that, the update for the platform will be easier to get it out to the public. In terms of the September release date, the time length is pretty good. In that intervening time, one only has the task of waiting for some new phone to hit the market. In spite of all the issues, this phone is great and we want to see what will be included in this total package.

The Galaxy S2 is Samsung’s baby in the making, which is speculated to be coming in to the market early 2011. Now, as always, people are dying to gather more facts about it, but are not quite privy to the information. So, there have been many rumors floating around, and here’s a brief look at them.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is the next generation of the Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S. The Galaxy S has just been introduced into the market.

Now, let’s have a look at what the Galaxy S2 is going to offer us, according to the many rumors. Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy S2 will have a 720p High Definition resolution display, and will also have a 2GHz processor. We will soon be glaring at a 4.3 inches screen, which will have a resolution of 1280 x 720. Now, this is absolutely insane! There is no smartphone in the market, or in the making, which has that kind of a resolution. That would bring the pixel count to roughly about 340 PPI, venturing into the “retina display” territory. There is talk of a 2GHz processor, but it could also be dual 1GHz processors. The device will have 1GB of Random Access Memory (RAM), and a whopping 4GB of Read only Memory (ROM). The phone will have a built-in memory of 32GB, but the user can always increase with the built-in microSD slot. The Galaxy S2 will have a camera of 8 megapixels, which will also be able to capture videos in high definition. Amazing features such as Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and headphone jack, along with features will also be included. All these will supposedly be running on Android 3.0, or better known as Gingerbread. But this fact has not been formally announced yet.
It is uncertain what Samsung Mobilephones has really in store for us. One thing is for sure, and that is, everyone would love the new additions which are splendid! So, if the Galaxy S2 is really what the rumors are all about, then everyone is surely in for a rare treat.

MSpot is a music streaming service, which has gained huge acclaim by users as it allows the user to access his computer, access the music library, and listen to all the music on the user’s computer from anywhere, through an Android device like the HTC Google Nexus One. MSpot is now live, and is easily available in the Android market.

To get started is very simple. The MSpot software is to be downloaded first to your PC or Mac. The next step is to give the program access to all the music that you would want to listen to. Signing up and the setup are very easy, and once all this is done, MSpot starts uploading the music that you have selected, into its library. After all this has been done, you can download this application into your Android device. But downloading this application requires that you have an Android device of the version 2.1 or higher as the new Samsung I9000.

The problem that will be there now is that, since this service is now available to all, uploading the music will take more time. Users might get notifications, saying that “due to the many new users, it may take a while to upload your library.” If you try to reload the site, the program might crash.
Well, hopefully, the big brains behind MSpot will remove these problems as soon as possible. But right now, it seems that this is not to happen. So, all we can do is wait and watch. In the meantime, there are other services to Smartphone Users which provide the same facilities as that of MSpot, like HomePipe. These other programs, on the other hand, work perfectly well. Such problems being faced by so many users could start hampering MSpot, as it is a new program. Hopefully after it has run for a few days, all problems will diminish.

The Samsung Intercept was all set for its launch on the 11th of July but one rather privileged shopper received his before the scheduled release and provided the frenzied media with a short tour on his Samsung Intercept. With the technological advancements these days, the market gets even more competitive. So every entity in the race is forced to come up with better modifications and updates for an even lesser value. Among other more prolific and notable characteristics of the Samsung Intercept is that it runs on the latest Android 2.1 in collaboration with Google like the Unlocked Samsung I9000 Galaxy S. It sports a camera of pretty decent clarity of 3.2 mega pixels which is quite a catch in today’s market, a broad touch screen which is a total perk in this Samsung Intercept package, Wi-Fi, and among other appended accessories, a Global positioning system tracker and the set also boasts an optical tracking pad. The video does not conceal much and it would be safe to say that they are not very promising, although a whiff of uncertainty lies over the fact that most are ready to sell them before their scheduled launch date.

The reviewer ascertained the fact that he had to fork out a surprising hundred dollars for the buy most possibly on a contract and he estimated the market sell price of the Samsung Intercept, which will hit all stores on the eleventh of July, will be more than a hundred and twenty dollars apiece from Sprint. That would be quite an economical buy in the present market scenario. Also the curious traits of the brand new Samsung Intercept have given rise to a sort of rumor and it is much anticipated amongst the tech-savvy citizens of the country.

Although very much in the race, it would not be completely justified if compared to other high profile end Android phones ( Unlocked Samsung T939 Behold 2) that are set to come into the market.
