Official Android 2.2 (Froyo) test ROM for Samsung Galaxy S leaked to the masses

With Blackberry making headways with its new videos and also making headlines with their new outlets in mainland china along with that Apple’s iPhone has launched several appearances to build popularity, in the same way not to be thrown out of competition the Samsung has brought out its own line of models: the Samsung Galaxy.

But this new model has run into some troubled waters even before it is launched as the official Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.2 test ROM leaking out from Samsung Mobile. However, you can be completely sure that the leakage is not going to have any effect on any of the popularity of the models and as such, you can be sure that the leak is a gimmick to increase its popularity. Simply created as a way to increase the hype and propaganda surrounding the phone. In fact, it seems that Samsung is not wasting any time at all in getting the latest release of the Android OS onto the phone. Codenamed as Froyo, this is one of the best that you can choose as it comes bundled along with the TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

But if you are a tech freak and do tend to fiddle into the hard wares and soft wares of recently released products and accidently if you hit upon a glitch in the Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.2 leaked ROM, then don’t be alarmed or overwhelmed because the product is still in the test phase and the company assures that there will be many more changes and inclusion in the final model and the ROM before its released.

People are hoping and wishing that the manufactures would take a hint and hurry up on the Froyo development. But having said that, it’s well known that the Samsung TouchWiz UI is nowhere near the performance and efficiency of the Android OS type skins, for example: the HTC sense.

Unofficial upgrade of the Samsung i8910 HD smart phone model

Samsung has always been reluctant to add ‘add-ons’ to their products. They don’t seem too willing to add an upgrade to their models. If it’s required, Samsung brings out a new line of models which would have the upgrade. But the hacking community doesn’t like such Samsung policies and are keen to fiddle with the inner workings of the unlocked mobile phones.

This is the same scenario with the Samsung’s latest brain child: the Samsung i8910 HD smartphone. To the hacking community, this Symbian powered model did seem not ‘up to date’ or so as to say ‘upgraded’. They had their powerful multimedia device to improvise on any and all models they got interested in. The latest Unlocked Samsung Mobile Phone has to bear the brunt of being stripped and tinkered with. This improvement hasn’t been part of Samsungs idea but unwittingly they find the upgraded version available for whoever wants it. It’s being called as the HX7 aka ‘Black Pearl’. The improvements include enhanced interface settings with kinetic scrolling. There is also a camera which saves the images and videos in the format “yyyy.mm.dd”. There has also been a minor change in the Wlan power which is brought back to the normal style. So also with the threaded SMS and pocket data. Along with this there is the inclusion of the ‘Wow’ effect to that of the 3D taskmaster. The music player is made a bit smarter and reliable. It now searches through only the e:\music and f:\music drives instead of going through every folder nonsensically. Along with these improvements there is also the added benefit of the battery life extended. With the new firm ware it seems that longitivity of the battery is extended to about 20 percent. But these benefits come at a stiff price. The warranty fails to exist as soon as the new firmware is added.
