Customer satisfaction plays a huge role within the mobile industry. The company is unable to keep their customers happy; you can bet that they will be quickly losing those same customers at the end of their contract. A recent survey that was conducted by JD power and Associates has confirmed what many have already thought – that Apple is going to be leaving the top of the list in terms of customer satisfaction. On a scale of 850, 838 points as the amount that Apple received atop the list in terms of customer satisfaction. They were followed by HTC, with a customer satisfaction survey rating of 801. The industry average of all companies combined 778. The 750+ range was filled with Samsung, Motorola, RIM, which is a much lower score at 762 then you would’ve thought that they would’ve received, LG, Palm, and the lowest was Nokia with a score of 721.

Although in the early going it was clear that the company thought that there SIM Free Xperia Play phone would undoubtedly become one of the companies most popular yet. Although the device has done alright, it has not really been able to reach the heights that most assume that it would. Rogers was the first carrier in North America to receive the device, and it has been clear since then that the device was not going to take off in the way that they had hoped. Although they had designed a specific marketplace of games directly for the device in the event that it was able to take off in the popularity among gamers, the company was unable to garner interest in the device that it hoped to ultimately it failed to meet expectations of the company.
At its release, it was one of the most powerful devices on the market, but that was not enough to bring users back to it. Today, Sony Ericsson announced that they will be releasing a plate too, but we’ll continue to update the previous version of the device by adding more games, movies, and software the already existing available options. Although because they are not going to be releasing the next version of the SIM Free Sony Ericsson XPERIA PLAY 3G, it is unclear exactly how much time and resources the company is willing to put into an already released phone that did not reach the expectations of users that. It was clear that Sony thought that the device would be able to replace the PSP which was not able to garner that much attention on the mobile gaming market place. In the end, it was not able to reach the expectations that they had, and even though they say they will continue to take the current experience for current users, it is not currently clear exactly how much effort they are going to be willing to throw in something that will ultimately unprofitable to much more attention. Either that, or Sony Ericsson is really in for the long haul with this device and think that would cause tension they will be able to put the device on the market that of users will love.
