The Blackberry Playbook was supposed to be one of the redeeming devices for Research In Motion. They were really counting on being able to enter the tablet market such as SIM Free Motorola Xoom Tablet, with the release of their device, but I’ve not seen any profits that they expected with it. They have a non-able to garner the market share that they were looking for when they decided to originally create the device. It has been mostly a failure for the company. Following the second-quarter earnings report, which stated that a total of 200,000 playbooks were sold that order, it is clear that the company is looking elsewhere to other strategies in order to come back to prominence.
This comes on the heels of the news that their stock and get to the lowest point that it’d been in the last five years. That just goes to show that the company has been in dire straits for quite some time, as evidenced by the layoffs that they have been forced to do over the course of the last few years. The BlackBerry PlayBook was expected to be a very highly powered tablet for the company, but has mostly managed to fade into obscurity so far. It will be interesting to see if the company is able to make any sort of comeback in this situation.
Research In Motion has seemingly employed a number of new strategies in hopes of being able to get back to their former self. At one point they were able to put together one of the better lineups of Blackberry devices that many users thought were cool and earned them a great reputation in the mobile industry such as SIM Free BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900, since that time, they’ve seen their market share fall in the number of the devices that they have released a seemingly flopped. It will be interesting to see what changes are made.

Customer satisfaction plays a huge role within the mobile industry. The company is unable to keep their customers happy; you can bet that they will be quickly losing those same customers at the end of their contract. A recent survey that was conducted by JD power and Associates has confirmed what many have already thought – that Apple is going to be leaving the top of the list in terms of customer satisfaction. On a scale of 850, 838 points as the amount that Apple received atop the list in terms of customer satisfaction. They were followed by HTC, with a customer satisfaction survey rating of 801. The industry average of all companies combined 778. The 750+ range was filled with Samsung, Motorola, RIM, which is a much lower score at 762 then you would’ve thought that they would’ve received, LG, Palm, and the lowest was Nokia with a score of 721.
The company is able to ship the smartest phones it is also able to garner the highest overall satisfaction rating among their users. This is big news for Apple, as JD power and Associates is a company that is known for providing top-of-the-line data regarding customer satisfaction.
It has become clear, as Nokia has fallen from having the largest market share in the mobile industry, and now has, according to the survey, the lowest overall level of customer satisfaction, that they have been unable to keep up with the changes within the mobile industry. The company for the longest time have the largest amount of users using their devices, but recently fell farther down the list it will certainly be interesting to see how these companies toward the bottom of the list, most notably Nokia and Research In Motion respond to the fact that their customers have not been satisfied or some of the other leaders in the industry.

While the United Kingdom might have plenty of old world style attributes, it has become clear that they’ve been able to put together an excellent data network with their mobile phones such as SIM Free HTC Inspire that allow users to have access to some of the fastest mobile Internet in the world. The country has not yet entered the LTE era, but continues to climb toward that. The server that was conducted shows that while there are still some spots without reception in the country, 3G Internet is something that seems to be pretty widespread throughout the country as a whole.
They have been using a number of applications developed you’re out where the outages are, and have been good about turning things around and starting to ensure that they are able to provide users with as good a service that they possibly can depending on the area. It has become abundantly clear that they are going to be one of the leading mobile nations in the world, and the survey shows that a wide majority of those that were surveyed are more than happy with the service that they have received.
The coverage was good over 70 to 80% of the United Kingdom, which is more than you can say for most countries that have a mobile setup. It would be interesting to see a similar survey done throughout Canada and the United States to get an idea of exactly which areas they are able to not cover with their cellular coverage. The high-speed networks certainly are not going to live up to the standards that have been sent by the United Kingdom, but it would be interesting to see a number of other countries take the same provisions that they have.

They are hoping that the new tablets will be able to enhance the experience of the customer and also allow them to improve safety above their flights. The iPad that are being doled out will contain British Airways safety documentation and will also allow them to utilize manuals and information about all of the passengers on the plane. Flight attendants will be able to find out and locate information about specific passengers on the plane, figure out who they will be traveling with, know about their status within the company, and also get meal requests and other information through the device.
This plan has been tested extensively through a number of different members of the flight crew over the course of the last few months. A number of other airlines, including American Airlines have utilized these in the past efficiently serve their customers. The only difference between the two is that American Airlines was utilizing Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which started to use for first-class passengers on a number of different flights that were going overseas.
It shows that many airlines are interested in getting involved with the trend, and you can expect for tablet devices such as SIM Free Motorola Xoom Tablet to become part of the air travel future. Allowing users to have easy access to safety documents, magazines and other reading material, as well as information about the flight should allow them to enjoy their flights more.
To say the least, it will be interesting to see if this is a trend that is going to take off and become part of the air travel experience for the foreseeable future, or if it falls often changes moving forward to some other type of new technology, perhaps technology that is specially crafted for air travel.

It is no secret that in the mobile industry companies were going to have a hard time expressing their feelings regarding Google purchased Motorola. With Google already being looked at as a company that could potentially have a monopoly on various industries within the tech industry, this acquisition is certainly not going to help their cause in court. This acquisition will allow them to hugely bolster the patent portfolio that the company has. Being able to own guns is something that allows other companies to court for infringing on its patents and allows them to tie up millions of dollars in legal processes.
A number of companies issued statements regarding the acquisition, and overall he seemed to be that they were not looking to say anything too negative about what has been going on. The statement was released by the executives from Samsung, Sony Ericsson, HTC and LG that stated “We welcome today’s news, which demonstrates Google’s deep commitment to defending Android, its partners, and the ecosystem.”
Although that was probably not really Google’s full intention in acquiring the company, it will be a stretch to think that the company is doing so only to support the Android phones such as SIM Free Samsung Galaxy S II. However, they do continue to expand and lessen the limitations of the Android platform, and it will ensure that they are able to put together an excellent plan for the future.
This is going to be one of the world’s largest acquisitions within the mobile industry over the course of the last few years and you can bet that they’re going to continue to change the landscape and make an industry that can be supported by themselves and both devices and the operating system in which those devices utilized it will definitely be an interesting next few months following the acquisition as we went to watch what Google does with her new kinds of information.

Usually domain buying like this shows that the company is serious about releasing the device enough to ensure that no one else can purchase their domains. This would be one of the first quad core devices released to the market in tablet form. The buying of the domains does not necessarily mean that the company is going to be releasing the device, but does show that they have a little bit of interest in releasing the device.

The company also released a Sim Free XOOM tablet last year, but did not find much success with the tablet. It will be interesting to see if they are able to put together a tablet that the masses want to pick up, which is something that they have failed to do thus far.
