Samsung Galaxy S and Wave ‘coming soon’ to Vodafone UK
UK cellular network Vodafone has recently updated its Coming Soon page to show a selection of new handsets which is highlighted by Samsung’s pair of Super AMOLED devices, the Wave and Galaxy S. The wave brings the new Bada sensibility to British mobile consumers while the Galaxy S will be the most advanced Android handset the UK has ever seen. The Unlocked Galaxy S runs Android 2.1 with Samsung’s own skin on top but is really known for the hardware that is behind this powerful smartphone.
With these two smartphones from Samsung it was only a matter of time before they were included on Vodafone’s network. The Wave and Galaxy S figure to be two of the best smartphones in the world and British cellphone consumers will be able to enjoy these devices just the same as everyone else in the world.
The thing that is surprising to me is that Vodafone does not already have a long list of Android powered devices given the number of these devices that are available in other markets. They do have a few Android devices Like Samsung T939 Behold2 Unlocked gadget to choose from but adding these two handsets to their lineup will certainly boost their selection. The various features that are included with these two Samsung smartphones will be a welcome addition by British consumers who are looking for the best Android powered handsets on the market. However, it does look like British consumers will have to continue to be patient as an Amazon pre-order listing for the Wave indicates a one to three month waiting period.
