Boston Symphony Orchestra unveils new Media Center
Boston Symphony Orchestra unveiled the new media center by BSO which is an appended application of the Apple iPhone which provides their fans with breaking and the latest news from all around the globe, notes for programs, and a gist of schedules for the season for all the events. On top of all these it provides special offers for tickets of various events, brand merchandise and music.
It is filled with loads of other applications as well. For examples the Classical Companion by BSO will be rendered viewable for all its users, watch and listen to the podcasts which were Emmy nominated by the Boston Pops alongside the BSO. Along with these their users will be able to watch selected episodes via the WebTV which not to mention offers an experience of paramount magnitude almost equal to be there at the concert itself. Moreover the Tanglewood concerts which generally take place on Sunday afternoons will be broadcasted live and there is also the option of listening to excerpts and pieces from the albums launched at BSO Classic.
Another feature that gets thumbs up is the application that allows you to buy music in your cellphone from inside the app directly. A huge number of albums can be readily obtained from the collection which includes BSO’s recordings of the Boston Pops- The Dream Lives On, the Tanglewood festival chorus and a lot of other recordings. If even that is not enough for you, the media center by BSO will receive updates with the added feature of push notification. All these make the BSO much sought after and it is expecting to make it big this time in the market. With all these added features that make BSO look lethal and pose a serious threat to all its competitors, it is expected of them to come out big this time. So buckle up for the new media center by BSO.
