It’s taken some time but the Apple iPhone 3GS and Apple iPhone 3G have finally had the latest update unlocked.  It’s has been a long time coming but if you are one of those people who like to have their cell phones carrier free it can now be done with the iPhone 3G.

The major benefit is that your iPhone 3G and 3Gs can finally have the latest software version on it so any bugs that were fixed can now also apply to any unlocked iPhone 3G or 3GS.
